There was a big problem though. He doesn't read instructions. Zzz. He's smart, so everything is abt concept but it would actually be easier if he had just followed the manual step by step. Oh well. It was fun, but we cracked the top and screwed 2 wrong screws which couldn't be unscrewed. You should have seen how pek chek yeye was. Haha. I love him:) so anyway I was guiding him subtlety throughout the whole process. Smart me.
Felt good to see him so happy but I realised that he isn't as sharp as he used to be. Age has really taken a toll on him. The whole building thing also made me see the similarity between him and boyfriend. How the both of them love fixing stuff, how kiddishly obsessed they can get and be in their own world for that short period of time and the frustration they show when something goes wrong. I think they will make good friends:) maybe I see yeye in bf deep down inside that's why I feel so close to bf.
I love fixing stuff up too. It's this guy part of me that's really strong. I'm totally in love with things like that. Guess I am similar to yeye in many ways. I love this drawer already, so what if it has a crack, I will never want to throw it away because this drawer is unique and I will never forget how fun it was today:)
